Daddy Cool and his wife Annette have always been into hot, spicy foods and condiments. Annette is of Caribbean descent and it was usual that that they had chilli sauce to spice up most meals. Along with their friends they made regular purchases from their local Asian market, but were becoming bored with the limited stock. Daddy Cool decided to grow his own chillies to satisfy their craving for hot food and started making small batches of chilli products for themselves and their friends. They were astonished by how many people told them it was the best product they had tried in terms of both flavor and heat.
Daddy Cool decided to take matters further; he registered with the authorities, becoming a cottage industry supplying both local people and wholesalers. As the word spread about the produce, demand grew, and in February 2015 Daddy Cool became a business, producing hot chilli sauces, pickles and chutneys. Daddy Cool’s Chilli Sauce was born.
